Release 1.0? Soon! Probably a beta this week. I have some some edge case bugs for you all to experiance before the release. I'm excited to see what you will bring to VRChat!

It took already to long to come to this point. I disappointed many people on this journey of my Object Tracking project for #VRChat. I'm working on the 1.0 release. We are faster on remote then IK, which will later be shifted into smoothing. Left = local. right = remote.

I designed my first PCB. It's for a secret project. I made some funny mistakes. The fuel gauge reads +3.3V, which is equivalent to an always empty battery. When not charging, it reboots instead of powering off.

a nice thing about when the internet was a bunch of little sites and servers was that it was a lot harder for governments to pressure "the chat provider everyone uses" to implement age verification. you wanna pressure 300 separate IRC servers? good luck with that. but one company? easy

Recently, many people have asked how my best friend is doing. TL;DR: she’s doing well. She did a lot for VRChat’s security and privacy. Sadly, her privacy wasn’t respected in a video. Now, she’s leaving #VRChat. For anyone who wants more information, please read her own words:

Shorted Version: Joined VRChat in 2018, got deep into the community and tech, and later found/reported major API security issues. In 2021 I joined the VRChat team and chose to use my personal account with an admin_moderator tag—huge regret, because it changed how “friends” treated me and many only contacted me for staff help. After a recent public video and an internal investigation (with outside legal counsel), I took time off to reflect; I can’t share the outcome for legal/confidentiality reasons. I’m proud of the infrastructure work I did (stability/security improvements, fixing early 2021 outages, and helping grow the DevOps team), but I’m stepping down to focus on my life and real friendships.
