I'm not on LinkedIn for the connections. I'm there for the thought leadership. It's amazing the number of people that have insight into the future and how AI will impact us. Truly mind-blowing. I really would like to be like them when I grow up. So much confidence.

The ones who fueled inequality for decades now say they want to save people. Left, right, doesn’t matter. Country, doesn’t matter. The lie is everywhere.

You’d think that with more knowledge and better understanding, we’d reach saner conclusions. But why bother with facts when populism pays better than truth?

I cannot recommend Yazio enough. I started tracking my calories at the end of May with the goal of eating healthier and losing weight. After nearly 2 years struggling to lose a couple of kilos, I managed to lose 11'5 kg in under 4 months!

We always thought that traditional media was biased and withheld the whole truth. Now we believe we know the truth because of social media. What we fail to understand/admit, regardless of the algorithms, is that we are seeking confirmation of our own biases.

I wonder, how we'll manage to feel sense of accomplishment when AI takes over everything. Pretty sure in the future there will be smokers with AI, and you'll get the best darn brisket with zero effort. But there's something so special about knowing it was your work that did it.

CraftAgents. A new movement in the software industry that offers you highly-paid consultants who will make sure your agents are following SOLID principles and applying TDD.

It's absolutely devastating to see how politicians create wedges between people, countries, and nationalities. And as a people, we continue to fall to their narratives because it's always easier to blame others.

I personally welcome the change of no longer needing to take your shoes off when traveling. Now if only they'd find a vaccine for measles, maybe they could slow down the ever-increasing number of cases in the US.

When you start tracking your calorie intake, that's when you realise just how much oil contributes. I've managed to pretty much cut out olive oil from my diet. No more in salad dressing , and rarely greasing ever so slightly a pan.

I think Apple will start to realise that if it wants to really be a player in AI, it has to renounce its focus on privacy. But it should be OK to do. It's not like they haven't done it before.

What's worrying is how it's incredibly easy to repeat. Within ten minutes I had multiple versions. This could make it even harder to detect and easier to spread. The lack of chyron makes it trivial to add one after the fact to make it look like any particular news channel.

VEO 3 Prompt: Generate a TV news anchor with a British accent, the anchor says "in shocking news, Jake Kaye Rowe ling's yacht sank with her on board after being attacked by orcas off the coast of turkey" include the announcement in the dialogue. This took one prompt and 2 minutes to generate.

If AI impacts logic, reasoning, and critical thinking of humans, then to become smarter it just has to stay at its current pace and allow us to adopt it more. We'll just become dumb ourselves.
