I don’t laugh when I see those news articles about how 32/35 students failed an exam for using AI. That makes me so sad. An entire generation who largely does not value learning. That’s not funny, that’s an indictment on society and people should be ashamed of themselves.
i think, now, more than ever its really important to interact with people who like your art and vice versa, and cultivate more community and trust among artists and commissioners and followers in general. its not a perfect system by any means but i think building trust between everyone will help

Someone I know later found out an artist (16k followers) they got a commision from uses AI and now they don't have funds to commish me or another artist they like. Not only does the slop machine steal art, these scammers directly steal work from real artists
