Horrified by the attack on Temple Israel, the 2nd U.S. synagogue targeted by antisemitic violence this year. My heart is with the Detroit Jewish community & the 140 families whose small children were at Temple Israel. Grateful for security. No one should live or pray in fear.

Last year, Musk urged the far-right AfD Party to "move beyond past guilt" (i.e. Nazism) & Vance encouraged AfD's acceptance at Munich. This year, AfD was invited to Munich & Rubio's message to allies was not to be "shackled by guilt and shame." It appears this WH is using neo-Nazi talking points.

It really takes effort on the part of Vice President Vance to issue a Holocaust Remembrance Day statement like this without any mention of six million Jews lost, the Jewish people, Nazis, or the issue of antisemitism.

Once again, militarized and emboldened ICE agents act with impunity, taking the life of an American citizen. The terror ICE has created is reminiscent of the darkest moments in our history and completely antithetical to our Jewish values, and it must come to an immediate end.

They aren't hiding it. Trump's interest in hosting people who flirt with neo-Nazi rhetoric makes Jewish Americans less safe.

Devastated by the burning of a historic synagogue in Jackson, Mississippi, the same synagogue that the KKK targeted in 1967. The idea that this may be another case of violent antisemitism - after numerous incidents last year - is unconscionable, and it must come to an end.

So to recap, the Coast Guard downgraded swastikas & nooses from "hate symbols" to "potentially divisive." Once public, they vowed to reverse course, but failed to do so. Now, they're vowing (again) to reverse course. At this point, does it matter? They already indicated tolerance of hate symbols.
