I really hate that they call it the male gaze. I mean it is. and I understand why. But I still get really annoyed that it's called that.

I could never embrace the place of not knowing. it's a horrifying placelessness to me. not to other people. plenty of other people can learn to be in the place that is not a place; the place between places. but I wouldn't like to be there ever at all myself.
