Y’all, I’m really considering going to grad school so I can be a professor and have a career when I decide to go for whichever form of doctorate I decide I want to pursue. Math education is the right career choice. Foreign/World languages is the right personal choice. But I wanna teach JC math.
For me, the strangest part of people pushing for her is that she’s passed no bills since she was elected. She’s done other great things like challenging the gerontocracy, but “We aren’t them” as a campaign failed us in 2024; I see that being the bulk of an AOC campaign in 2028 and it won’t bode well

There’s a very strong chance that there will be a blue tsunami this November. Whoever gears up after this for their run in 2028 needs to make sure that their platform isn’t based on not being MAGA/Republican/I told you so. It wasn’t enough to prevent this. It won’t be enough to get us out of it.

Oh, I feel this deeply. 11,000 minutes of tutoring in my Math Lab in one semester—largely all done by myself Forced off for three months bc they couldn’t get my budget set & still had to have hour cuts w/ the new budget 0 mins —> 11,000mins in one semester = reduced hours & student resources 😩

Police have not said whether they suspect foul play. Her body has been transported to the Mississippi Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

I think that failing these midterms is going to be the absolute driving force for a reclamation of community and a real political fight for the power of the People. I still think that we are a VERY long way from a violent revolution, but Americans do really love guns & hate waiting.

You then find yourself working to fill in those tasks w/ already overworked people when you could have just kept their hours to begin with
