The Internet’s weakest trust anchor is the DNS root. Handshake (HNS) replaces it with Mathematics.
The DNS root is the single most centralized layer of the Internet. Handshake (HNS) replaces that chokepoint with a blockchain-secured root: cryptographic ownership of TLDs, DNSSEC by default, and no institutional gatekeepers.
Handshake isn’t about replacing domains like .com. It’s about replacing the root zone file controlled by ICANN . Names → cryptographic property, not bureaucratic leases.
