Sector Development Manager East and Arts at TNA. Fan of tea, cake, gin and eye-wateringly loud music.

I *know* most of you know this, but also whenever we (TNA) get sector digital capacity feedback the biggest asks tend to be a) free training b) basic/introductory training like Digital Asset Registers c) support with advocacy. It's all there, for free, accessible any time, with reference material.

The Union Chapel is advertising for a part-time archivist - it's a great job for someone. I've spent a lot of time there and the staff are great. The archive starts c.1820 and the postwar sections esp. are crammed with ephemera on all kinds of music and performance.

So, The Odyssey is excellent. Doesn't feel like a 3-hourer - but take snacks anyway. The Sack of Troy and Death of the Suitors are both incredible set pieces that would make decent films in their own right. Oh, and NEVER accept a dinner invite from Samantha Morton.
