Colleague: Do you think Falcom will release both Horizon sequel and Trails in the Sky the 3rd remake before physical production ends at January 2028? My answer: "Since Kondo mentioned the staff already messing with the 3rd as a medium size project, I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case."

It will be interesting to see what Falcom projects will be green-lit for next year. After finishing KX, the overall story feels unfinished with plot points being left unanswered. Now it is pretty much who will get the bigger priority (there are two projects on standby) for their next release.

Guess Falcom did give the strikes to Falcom Music Channel with intention to do so due to recent events which led to them finally make the call to give the go ahead. Not really surprise by it due to being a gray area in the first place. Now the policy must be put into effect.

Since a personal colleague, fellow shareholders and others wanted me to look into the takedown of the Falcom Music Channel despite being out of jurisdiction, myself and a close contact will be making calls to get the POVs of the situation. Hopefully we will get a statement soon. - Hansuke

It’s sad to see Falcom Music Channel of being gone… Thank you Josep for putting all of the effort of showing care to their music work and preserving for over a decade especially to other OST/BGM that don’t make it to any final product especially for the newer-unannounced titles, etc.

Kyoto Xanadu Cleared The direction for this title with its characterization and development bridge a new pathway going forward. Gameplay is a call back to the old Xanadu days. More titles like this? Yes! Looking forward to the next entry/story when it is ready one way or another. #KyotoXanadu

Ngl the writers and this new development team for Kyoto Xanadu and direction they used for Rei Kamiya for character development with other characters is so refreshing to read (almost finish the game). I wanted to see more of this character direction in a future project with this specific team.

I wonder how many variations of Buster the Ghost of the Garden from Shuntaro Koguchi we will get from him. It will be hilarious Dragon Slayer Project and others after that will get the same treatment 😆.

In a group call about Falcom, someone asked me that if Cold Steel I/II gets a remake approach for the modern consoles, would they do it? Falcom have 70 developers to overlap each other as of now. It will depend on the development budget, project lineup and how many more hires in the next few years.

It will be funny if Kyoto Xanadu gets the Ex+ treatment like with Tokyo Xanadu after reading the full Famitsu 4 page interview by Kondo. - DLC such as the Aster Story and additional characters has not yet been decided. If there's enough demand, then maybe…

My favorite part of the Kyoto Xanadu interview (4gamers) is that this development team remains committed to their vision despite skepticism from those that feel "It is outdated" and took those inspiration from past titles (Xanadu, others) for the 2D x 3D gameplay design within a development budget.

Kyoto Xanadu Hands-On Review by Automaton CN BiliBili - Q:"And more importantly... this isn't going to be an unfinished story, is it?" A:"I can't reveal too much about the story. It has a satisfying, self-contained narrative, while it still leaves room for future installments due to its setting."

Seeing the PlayStation Blog about the Physical disc production ending in January 2028 for new games releasing on PlayStation consoles. Hopefully Falcom and other companies gets their games that are in "currently in production" projects out before then.
