Uber niche McCartney observation: Despite the fresh start/new band vibe to the project, a good 30-40% of the tracks on Flowers In The Dirt would slot seamlessly into Press To Play - time’s rendered it a weaker album than initial reaction suggested AND it makes PTP a *little* better in hindsight.

Love the way Bogey and Bergman treat their time in Paris like forever ago, yet it’s only two years! Also, incredible how much younger Bogey appears to be in the flashback sequence, so perhaps we ought to give more credit to what *those* particular two years have done to everyone.
