Anxiety isn't always obvious. Sometimes it looks like overthinking, avoiding decisions, or feeling exhausted for no clear reason. Understanding the signs is the first step toward managing them. Which coping strategy has helped you the most? 💙

Unpopular opinion: "just think positive" might be the least helpful advice in the history of advice. You can't think your way out of exhaustion. You rest your way out. Positivity is a nice guest, but it shouldn't be doing rescue work.

Ever notice how one bad comment can outweigh ten good ones? there's a name for that negativity bias. our brains are wired to hang onto threats way tighter than praise, because a few thousand years ago, missing a threat could get you killed. it's not a personal flaw. it's just an old alarm.

You don't have to feel ready to start. You don't have to feel confident to try. You don't have to feel okay to keep going. Most brave things are done by people who are still scared. You're allowed to be one of them.

"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response." Viktor Frankl I think about this a lot on bad days. We can't always control what happens to us. But that tiny gap the breath before we react is still ours. Nobody can take that from us.

If you're overwhelmed and don't know where to start: pick the smallest, dumbest possible first step. Not "clean the house." just "put one cup in the sink." Not "fix my life." just "open one tab." momentum doesn't need a big push. it just needs a start.

There's a concept called the "spotlight effect" basically, we think people notice and remember our mistakes way more than they actually do. that thing you said in 2019 that still haunts you? nobody else remembers it. you're the only one still holding the mic. #happybeing

Myth: confident people don't feel self-doubt. Truth: confident people feel self-doubt constantly they just don't let it drive. Confidence was never about the absence of fear. it's just fear, riding in the backseat instead of the driver's seat. #HAPPYBEING

"The wound is the place where the light enters you." — Rumi Except in clinical practice, that quote gets misused constantly. People treat it as permission to romanticize pain instead of process it. This is the core problem with how we talk about burnout right now. Burnout isn't tiredness.
