Ive come across a thread on twt discussing the death of deviantart and how there's truly no place for artists to go to feel real connection. Artists that post want their art to be seen, so they look for a place that has both artists and non-artists who consume with their eyes and likes.

Once again, Happy Anniversary Golden Sun. With the Zine finally out, I think I'm ready to share the piece that I made in contribution to the project. You can check out the full zine below. There's SO MANY pages of art & stories told from the heart scattered throughout it. #art #GoldenSun #fanart

Behind them, is a transparent variant of Kraden and Jenna, symbolizing the looming thoughts flowing through the mind of all four party members. The see and sky are filled with colorful variants of the various monsters from the first Golden Sun game who hang around the see or can fly, with a single vermin hidden behind the boat, as an easter egg. Monsters include the squid creatures, a lizard man, bees, bats, and a harpy. Flying above them all are an assortment of of seagulls soaring through the sky. The sea itself is a dark blue with some light blue sparkles scattered throughout. The sky is a grayish blue with a cloudy mist covering up the yellow sun in the corner.

Latest progress shot, updated some menus, made proper item pickups, made a much more efficient and versatile method for interacting with chests/barrels/psy stones. Sorta-proper knockback states (need to fix the direction a little, simple enough). All in all, good progress =)

How we doing with our Golden Sun submissions folks? I'm hoping to do a lot of the heavy lifting later this week then stare at it for 9 days with scrutinization until I don't hate it. I also want to doodle something extra but it'd have to stay a doodle and idk if I should submit it
