One time we wandered too far from Eastman, got lost, ended up hitching a ride in the back of a pickup w some local kids. I remember being so utterly snowed by my preconception they were country hicks, as they ended up being nicer better educated, more successful and well travelled than any of us.

Me and the high school gang drove down & spent a weekend at the dome once, we went on this adventure walk, I showed them the route through the woods down to the rail tracks. They they went all stand by me and decided to cross the elevated rail bridge, and did so. I could not, so they left me behind.

The coolest thing about the dome was everyone had big properties with thick trees and no fences, a lot of sort of communal back yard kinda thing, no way to easily tell where one property ended, lotsa wandering around. Occasionally hunters would discover us and go WTF TABARNAK etc

The worst thing about the dome apart from the smell of the composting toilet, was that the acoustics meant you had to masturbate in the basement. Oh or the main floor bathroom, I forgot about that. I mean that’s probably where you should be doing in anyway. So yeah I guess it’s fine. So the toilet.

You know how every once in a while your brain stalls and completely forgets how to write a word and though it sounds obvious in your head no spelling looks right and you question everything? As I get older I get my word aphasic, like my language is breaking down

Rue de Theâtre in Eastman is infamous in its own way, as it descends steeply from a winding hill and ends up suddenly at a t-junction and the deepest part of Lac d’Argent. Anyway there was a bus and yadda yadda they probably wrote a new law afterwards about bus driver’s responsibilities.

Went back to the dome in my dream. In dream world developers have paved another road up the back of the hill that connects to rue de theâtre in Eastman, new side streets than run a patchwork across it. The houses are ugly. But if you go down the back way you magically end up in town next to pizzeria
