Agentic engineering reminds me of when web (post ITS) and JAVA with SAP was introduced...exciting times while we all try figure this out together to see what sticks! It's messy, constantly evolving and keeps me on my toes again! Looking forward to #sapteched

Saw this on X and figured it was worth finding on Bluesky (think this will track for me in the future)
Claude watching me write code manually after I hit the daily limit.
The (marketing) training video positioning Build with Joule Studio is the best insight to date I've seen into why developers (assuming you also understand the business) still matter (even if you use AI to code for you) - learning.sap.com/courses/intr...
I've always been a 1 (large ultrawide) monitor type of dev, but now I find I need a dedicated screen for agents (FYI - ctrl-alt-shift + ` opens a standalone terminal in VS Code) Autohotkey is also useful to create stream deck button to focus on terminal when it gets back to you.
For all developers skeptical or not sure where to start with AI dev - Just grab an existing codebase and try this approach out with a Claude Code Pro subscription (pay for one month and you'll start to understand) You will then go down the AI Dev rabbit hole! www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6mY...
SAP GUI for Windows (new 8.10) keeps moving forward - available imminently? me.sap.com/notes/354918... (I will like the new grouping options in the task bar and look forward to seeing Horizon in it for the NWBC folk out there)
#UI5con live now (on main stage): www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMPu...
Parallel AI agent prompt dev is definitely the path forward though I'm still in babysit one agent at a time mode (since I don't trust my controls around it yet and also freaking out about if I need to pay for the Ultra plan!)
I do think Anubhav Training YouTube channel is doing a good service here providing samples and recommendations (e.g. Don't use extension, use the terminal mode and more) - I would recommend this as a good start poing www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQuW...
Recommendations anyone? Is there any confident full stack SAP devs (not threated by doing this) produced a recent post about their Claude/VSCode proven workflow and claude.md set-up for SAP customer dev?

You remember when delivering a bad solution would be an advantage if you also were the BPO back-office provider - The same option to print money exists for bad agentic token usage so be warned.
It was good following the CAP Blog Posts channel/conversations untill the Developer challenge started getting people to post keys into it! @qmacro.org - Something to consider in the future...
Well written for a semi-complex topic

Has there been a rename of RAP I was not aware of? From AI North Star doc: "the ABAP Cloud development model (ABAP RESTful application programming model),"? Also, golden opportunity to use coding instead of model so the acronym becomes ACDC!
So if we are heading to an Enterprise world where the next step is that AI knows what we need to do...Yeah - Have we thought this through?
So it seems Ai is being used by a number of people instead of the more standard AI and I must say, since you can't tell the difference between AI and a person's shortened name Al with most fonts, I'm kind of up for it...
This was the post I was waiting for - I have a lot of questions still and IMO it will be pretty disjointed for the next couple of years IMO - Note New UX terms: Application Experiences vs Engagement Layer Experiences - Also - Bring on APAC region!

Listening to the verge and this was an interesting point: In Australia, the legal system treats confidentiality as the "keystone" of privilege. If you share that information with an AI platform in a way that is inconsistent with maintaining confidentiality, the privilege can be lost permanently.
