Also known as Teresa. Re-inventing my life again, this time in Cornwall; still a work in progress. Love Dartmoor, Brittany, old stones, history, churches, folklore, ghosties, nature, art, dogs, food, cooking, books, travel and other stuffs. Still learning.

I don't wish to be cremated, or buried in a cold hole in a 'waste of resources' coffin. I'd prefer to be wrapped in a simple shroud, laid under a cosy, blanket of leaves and given back to Nature.

Bluebells under a canopy of trees with ferns and other leafy shrubs.

Kerdroya labyrinth. Such a thought- provoking, interesting spot. Almost half a mile of wandering in and out. The dry stone walls are works of art in themselves. A very serene, special place.

Picture shows a cast metal diagram of the labyrinth which is circular.A cast metal plaque reading, share the light, play your part and love the land with all your heart. Plaque is mounted on a stone which makes part of the wall of the labyrinth.Part of the stone labyrinth constructed with slate and granite. Walls are approximately 3 foot high and 2 foot wide, and topped with soil. Some vegetation is there but very dry right now.The centre of the labyrinth with circular central stone. In the background is the blue water of Colliford reservoir.

I invested in an old, second-hand ordnance survey road map of the UK ( 1994) and have been poring over it ever since. It's an absolute page turner for anyone interested and/ or fascinated by maps. And that's me.

There's a classic car show going on near here which will involve owners standing around their cars and chatting about car stuff, and then looking at other people's cars and chatting about that car and I love it. We should indulge our passions.

I took a stroll to the posh deli and bought myself a posh pasty, which is basically a pasty in a smart brown paper bag. I also bought some posh walnut and honey crackers and, omg. 😍🫓🫓😋

Have been pondering on what to read next and went hunting for a book I thought I had somewhere. Realised that it's probably one of those I've had to part with over the last few years each time I've down-sized. Maybe a trip to the library is in the cards.

Early to bed for me. Feeling snoozy. This isn't my room. 😂 This is a room in the Elizabethan House on the Barbican, Plymouth, now managed by The Box museum. Well worth a visit. I'd love to pop in at night! It would be extremely spooky.

A small wooden bed with a small pillow and one woollen blanket. This bed is part of a display in the Elizabethan House, Plymouth and represents a poor grocer's rented room. There's a jug and bowl on a small wooden table and a linen nightshirt on the bed. There's a wooden floor and a very small candle.
