For all the criticism of the World Cup (and there is plenty to criticise with FIFA etal), the true human spirit always finds a way to shine through and remind us that pockets of joy exist everywhere - the f*ckers who seek to divide can’t drown it out no matter how loud their megaphones!

The Cape Verde fan enthusiastically agreed, and the two exchanged shirts before sharing a long hug
