Happy 40th Anniversary to the Metroid series! One of the most unique Nintendo series that’s full of great games, and a series that I really need to play more of.

Here are my rankings for EVERY mainline Mario Kart game from worst to best! I already know a few of my placements won’t go over well with some people, but just remember that this is all for fun and these are just the opinions of a weirdo who wears a stack of hats on his head.

What’s your favorite Sega CD game that ISN’T Sonic CD?

Despite all the negative things I’ve said about the system, the Sega 32X is actually excellent when it comes to arcade ports. It has probably the best home port of Mortal Kombat 2, as well as great ports of Virtua Fighter, Space Harrier, and After Burner.

Knuckles’ Chaotix. Definitely not worth getting a Sega 32X for. It has some cool ideas, but the game itself just isn’t very fun to actually play, and it wasn’t the Sonic game the system needed. BUT, this is a damn fine looking game. One of the most aesthetically pleasing video games ever made.

If you could choose just one cancelled video game to be revived and be officially completed and released in the same way that Star Fox 2 was, which one would you choose?

For those who are curious about what’s in store for the future of the Donkey Kong series, I got this sneak peek at what’s about to be revealed.

I just love the slapstick style of Sonic the Fighters so much. It may not be a masterpiece as a game, but no other game in the series quite has the same over-the-top Looney Tunes-esque animations that Sonic the Fighters does, and I’ll always really appreciate the game for that.

Who else made their own microgames with WarioWare D.I.Y. back in the day?

I truly miss the days of getting excited from seeing a blurry-ass fake Smash Bros. screenshot and being like “OMG IS THIS REAL?!” Take me back to that time.

This is the screen you saw when you knew you were in for a good time! The Sega CD startup screen has such a vibe to it that, even now in 2026, I have a feeling that I’m experiencing the future of gaming when I see it.

I love the Sonic 2 Game Gear ending because, I know it’s just Sonic’s idle animation playing, but in the cut-scene it comes off as “WTF why is Tails here where did he come from?!”

I’ve been playing Denshattack! on my Switch 2 and this screen accurately describes how I feel about the game.

I’m not super into the Minions or anything, but I’m extremely grateful for the new Minions movie for temporarily providing Wendy’s with such a great soda flavor.
