26 He/Him Canadian EST Mickey Mouse's brother-in-law I love comic books

It’s new comic book day! This week I had two very exciting new releases on my pull list: Hello Kitty and Friends: Hello World! #1 (the comic I’ve been looking forward to the most this year), and Godzilla’s Monsterpiece Theatre Presents Roar of the Worlds (cover B) #ncbd

IDW Comics Hello Kitty and Friends: Hello World! #1
besides Hello Kitty, the cover features Keroppi, Badtz-Maru, Tuxedosam, My Melody, Lala, Cinnamoroll, and Mimmy

Written by Mariko Tamaki and Illustrated by Cody Lemieux. Main cover illustrated by Paula Ganucheau

Godzilla’s Monsterpiece Theatre Presents Roar of the Worlds

Written and illustrated by Kyle Baker. Cover B illustrated by Kyle Baker

TMNT: Journeys #12 Raphael fights some vampires, and Donatello is about to meet some talking raptors. I like reading this series as a change of pace from current TMNT; it doesn’t have much action, but I still find it interesting. I know this volume never finished, but I’ll stick with it to issue 32

Raphael: “New job”…? I didn’t realize you had an old job!

Walt Disney Giant #4 (1996) This is a fun, comedic take on The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells, starring Goofy Goof as Goofy Griffin, and Mickey Mouse as Mickey Kemp. I mostly read just Duck comics when it comes to Disney comic books, but I’m starting to like the pairing of Mickey and Goofy

Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories, Vol. 9, No. 4, Canadian Edition from January 1949 This is the oldest comic book in my collection. It’s the Canadian edition of Walt Disney Comics and Stories #100, and uses the cover from #89, but it has different stories than either of those issues

Donald Duck is running down a snowy hill with his eyes close while holding a sled, meaning to jump on it and slide down. Unbeknownst to Donald, Huey and Dewey have tied Donald’s sled to a tree with a rope. Louie is looking at this situation and is holding his hat over his chestBild

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #39 This issue was great; it had a lot of good jokes. I’m not very familiar with Muckman, but he was a fun character in this. I’ll miss getting new issues of this series after the final one comes out in September

I'm gonna start posting physical comics I've read. This is Bugs Bunny Monthly #1 from 1990. The back cover is an Animaniacs ad. Found it a week ago for 50¢. It's my first Looney Tunes comic and I thought it was pretty good. I enjoyed the main story as well as the two shorter ones. Love the cover
