Join us for an inspiring day at the AI in Education conference, designed for educators, leaders, and innovators from across Cornwall and the South West to come together and explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in the classroom 🤩
SPEAKER INTRO: We're pleased that Caitlin Gould will be speaking at our AI in Education conference on 17 May! 🤩 Caitlin is the co-founder of TECwomen CIC and runs the TECgirls project to inspire young girls and address the gender gap in tech, engineering and creative digital spaces.
Nothing better! Trainee teachers thriving in great schools 🥰 happy Easter holidays.
Brilliant session this evening with our primary and secondary ECTs. Great to see everyone coming together to unpick adaptive teaching and share best practices across phases. Huge thank you to Verity Waters for your time, expertise — and, of course, the sweets!

ECTs on Tour: This time, it’s all about Primary! After an incredible response from our Secondary ECTs, it was fantastic to see so many curious educators eager to explore the primary curriculum and classroom. A great opportunity to bridge the phases and deepen our understanding of our schools.
A great day with colleagues from CELT, West Country, and Ted Wragg. The Bridges by Tom Percival showed how books connect us, spark imagination, and give every child a voice. Just as Mia’s world changes through reading, we explored ways to ensure students feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Next stop, Mevagissey Primary School for Day 2 of the Primary Leaders Development Day, a cross-trust collaboration with Westcountry Schools Trust and Ted Wragg Trust. @lucygambier.bsky.social @celtacademies.bsky.social @simonpollard72.bsky.social

Cornwall Education Learning Trust@celtacademies.bsky.social · 2y agoToday's CELT SEND Conference is a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration in education. By working together, our academies are continuing to make strides toward building a more inclusive and accessible educational experience for all. #LearningTogether #WeAreCELT
Today, I had the pleasure of watching Bilbo Baggins, Matilda, and LeBron James teach, while also catching up with Alice and more Matilda characters during my visits. It was a joy to see the brilliant work our trainees and ECTs are doing—I love my job!
Evolution not revolution. A great opportunity to recharge, share and prepare. #InspiringSW @celtacademies.bsky.social Looking forward to the next event in May!
Stunning day in Cornwall for Inspiring the South West curriculum conference! Thanks to @celtacademies.bsky.social and @moremorrow.bsky.social for having me - this is such an exciting time for schools in the SW - really pleased to be here to talk about the curriculum and CPD. #InspiringSW
Learning from the best, Opening Worlds training across CELT! Learning how to deliberately role model intellectual curiosity through narrativising knowledge, identifying the causal relationships of facts and reflecting on the physicality of language. Powerful takeaways #WeAreCelt
Looking forward to this!!!
