This year, I was in charge of programming for the Asian Features & Asian Shorts competitions at NIFFF (3-11 July), which are, in my opinion, pretty badass. Films from Japan, China, HK, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, and Vietnam. Action (lots of it!), horror, comedy, fantasy drama! Thread!

I know opinions are like assholes, but whenever I read someone say THE FURIOUS has "dull choreography" or that "it's nothing new", I'm like... what do you want, mate? Chainsaws coming out of the character's arse? That exists, that's MUTANT GIRLS SQUAD. Different genre though.

Lastest release info on THE FURIOUS, this time with sources to back it up. Still unsure whether Mainland China is also getting it simultaneously to HK. Really surprised by lack of news from some territories (Spain, Italy, South America, Korea, Japan... hopefully soon)!
