It struck me that we haven't had any updates in *months* from either Virgin or Trenitalia on their Cross-Channel plans. I assume they are still working away at these? @pglux.bsky.social @jonworth.eu It seems that Virgin haven't ordered stock yet, they had intended to have this sorted last year.
Prague's Holešovice neighborhood circulation plan is a good example of how the "Divert Through Traffic" strategy is all about disentangling the main transit and traffic corridors Red: transit routes, mostly in mixed traffic but only local Yellow: main car thoroughfares. The do not overlap.

Hoping someone can help me! I'm on the Eurostar to Paris, arriving 13.56. I have the sleeper booked from Stuttgart at 20.30 tonight. I booked a DB Passzuschlag for the Paris-Munich TGV leaving 15.55 but the Stuttgart stop is cancelled. So hoping to get the 15.21 ICE to Karlsruhe and change there.

A challenge for @pglux.bsky.social This TGV had 3h13 between its first and second stop, are there any other TGVs with a longer non-stop section by duration?
Alex@heard-a.bsky.social · 6mo agoThis train has quite a disastrous path. It leaves 8 minutes after a direct Geneva TGV Lyria, and takes the same route until Bellegarde. But it arrives at Bellegarde 41 minutes after the TGV Lyria! (Last pic is arrivals at Bellegarde)

It's great that ES are stopping in places like Aulnoye, offering credible connections from Lille or Valenciennes. What's more baffling is why ES are doing this as a new entrant when SNCF as the national operator refused to have stops at Nancy when they ran it in the public interest (with subsidy)!

Probably the last time I pass this way before the axe falls. Nightjet at Paris Gare de l'Est with portions for Berlin and Vienna. Fortunately Oui au Train de Nuit are on hand, campaigning against the French government's removal of subsidies.
