I read years ago about how Meta uses algorithms designed to stir emotions and create dopamine and cortisol responses to create addictive scrolling, but did not understand how they really operate until I observed them in action on Threads and Facebook this week.

Thankfully, this is the last Moon-Mars-Uranus copresence in ♊️ we have for a while. The last one was July 10-12. I find it very hard to get good sleep during these periods. It is just a very agitating, restless vibe. I am off to ride my bike to help me work it out, and hopefully sleep better tonight.
