I still remember when my daughter ran from the back of the conference room and jumped into my arms as I was testifying to @gavinnewsom.bsky.social in 2016 on why we should keep running Diablo Canyon. It was true then, still true now. I do this for our children.

We joined 30+ organizations urging Secretary Chris Wright to protect the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office from harmful cuts. LPO supports clean energy projects—including new nuclear—that lower costs, boost reliability, and power our future. We can’t afford to lose it.

We need SO MUCH more clean energy. I get why people are excited about SMRs… but, let’s do big also!!
