Despite an unexpected talent for being unemployed, I found a new job too cool to pass up and am back in my nice pants. I recently started as the tech editor at @sfstandard.com, joining a stacked team that includes my former Postie partner in crime, @ceodonovan.bsky.social.
I was laid off from The Washington Post today. I know, real original sentence. My first plagiarism in 20 years of journalism. My job was stupid fun and I loved every minute of it. I’m sad for my talented colleagues but sadder the world will not get to read, watch and listen to their amazing work.
