We all want a stable trading relationship with the US. But we cannot build Canada’s economy around the whims of an unpredictable American President. We need to protect workers’ rights, reform EI so it supports people when they need it, and match tariffs, including on energy, as necessary.

Canada paid for the Gordie Howe International Bridge. Canadian workers built it. We need this bridge open, and we all want to see it open as soon as possible. But Canadians also deserve transparency about the deal their government made. (1/2)
