The Breath of Galadriel

@heavyelfbreath.bsky.social

Frequently heavy. Definitely Unhinged. Cannot be contained. Wife of Halbrand. Mother of Celebrian, Fírrin, Amáriel, and perhaps more? Queen of the Southlands.

(OOC) There has been some talk lately of how TROP will depict Galadriel and Celeborn's first meeting. I won't say more should there be those that wish to avoid spoilers. But we do know already that Galadriel was "amazonian" and would make a crown of her hair when participating in athletic feats.

I watched a video once about how great it can be playing a Human Fighter in DnD. Generally they're regarded as super basic and boring. But the fact is - the razzle and dazzle of playing more 'exciting' classes and races is meaningless if you haven't got a good story to tell.

I’m perpetually fascinated by people who only showed interest in “Halbrand’s” character post-reveal, otherwise seriously branding him as “Temu Aragorn” and not being interested/invested. The idea that mortal Men/Women in Tolkien are boring or unworthy or incapable of great feats is so lame.

To those who think it's beneath Galadriel to love a human, I'd like to remind them that Finrod's first reaction to seeing men was that "love for them stirred in his heart" and her brother Aegnor was actually in love with Andreth, a human woman. A person's worth is more than their background or race.

Everyone please beware of this account. The poster, Charles, cyberstalked and harassed a lot of women in the #Tolkien community across multiple different platforms. And now he’s here. Please report and block immediately.

Charles, aka The Tales that Really Matter, is using a profile picture of Galadriel from S2 E1. Her face lit up in a golden glow as she watches the great tree come back to life.

Despite everything Sauron has done to break him, Celebrimbor’s mind remained unbreakable. Until the end he showed pure strength and courage. “The rings of Power shall destroy you, and in the end I foresee. One alone shall prove your utter ruin!” Celebrimbor, the greatest of elven-smiths 💚

This guy smiled as he brutally murdered/left people to die horribly; the same one who laughed and mocked Gorlim as he put him cruelly to death. Depicted below is not Halbrand, nor Annatar. This is the true Sauron coming out of hiding; he's the one you see just before you die.

Lady of Light, reborn. I’m really curious about her arc in S3. Will she still face internal or external conflicts, or is she done? I hope her struggles and growth (whichever shape it might take) continues because otherwise she would be sidelined. Galadriel is the most complex character if TROP. ❤️
