Well I rode it and it was fun. I'm gonna sleep on the decision though. It needs a couple things. the battery light was on, and the shop has some part on order for the brake. I ended up talking to the guy who traded it in; he went for a different RE w/ cruiser seating. #motosky #INT650 #motorcycle

Just got back from a little cruising. Started on the river road (no longer under construction!) and hit the freeway at about 75mph for an hour. The rebel 1100 is a little vibey at that speed and my windshield is not touring height... but wind therapy is real. New helmet is way quieter #motosky

I've been away from here for several days, and plan to continue that. Everything is fine, I'm just busy and evaluating the impact of social media as a whole on my productivity. Chickens are all growing. I'm building a tractor for them and it's about 50% done. I bought a Toyota Tacoma on friday

I really don't think cis people understand how pervasive the attempt to remove trans people from public life is, or pay attention to the organizations that have removed us from public life. it's so frustrating sometimes to have this consistent reminder that yeah, we're mostly on our own out here.

as much as i appreciate the democrats responding with vigor for once, the fact that republicans are using "transgender" as a slur for a political candidate is fucking horrifying and dems need to quickly figure out a way to address it head on. calling stephen miller ugly isn't a long-term fix.

21 states with bathroom bans. assuming this is current. i think it is? it sure hasn’t gone down! criminal penalty states? 3 now. a trans woman in an idaho women’s room could rack up a felony for it. kansas intro’d a bounty system where random people can sue a trans person in the right bathroom.

I agree this is incompatible with democratic expression, but I do want folks to understand that this is not new. I remember facing off with cops dressed like this at the FTAA protests in Miami in 2003. We all saw the photos from standing rock and Minneapolis. Memory against forgetting plz ❤️

A masked man in an armored vehicle, dressed as if he is in the middle of a war zone, training a weapon on unarmed protestors. This is simply incompatible with democratic expression.

E-bikes are the great equalizer for ppl who have mobility issues or live in hilly areas. As much or as little exercise as you want, incredibly efficient for errands, and just fun as hell 😀.
