The destruction of the #DepartmentofEducation is yet another classic authoritarian early step. Keep the masses ignorant, uninformed, and manipulable. Let the worst performing states choose to perform even worse.
Disappointed at #ColumbiaUniversity’s capitulation to #Trump on Middle Eastern studies and free speech protocols. This will result in a chilling effect on universities nationwide. Academia is traditionally among the first victims of authoritarianism.
