I have a father and mother in law in Iran. I have a sister in law. A niece. She's 14. She likes silly pink headbands and purses and dresses, just like kids her age all over the world. There are 93 million people like her in Iran. People who do all the normal mundane life things as the rest of us.
Remember: Telling lies that everyone knows are lies is a classic tactic of dictators to force their followers to side with them over the truth itself. But the public will not be gaslit. We will continue to spread the truth to our communities. Ignorance is the handmaiden of tyranny.
Here's the thing, Greg — free speech is still protected by the First Amendment under the Constitution. If you want folks to stop saying you're the secret police who are kidnapping and killing people, maybe stop acting like the secret police who are kidnapping and killing people.

This has been such an Illuminating part of our current moment: It’s revealed just how unwilling those with actual power are to even just ask tough questions, while highlighting how willing pajama-wearing suburbanites are to physically drive off guys armed with actual guns.

It's easy to scoff at Trump designating as a "terrorist organization" something that's not an *organization* at all. I have different view. When you declare an idea rather than an organization to be terrorism, you can declare *anyone* a terrorist. And that is what he will do. This is horrifying.

The weirdest thing about Trump deploying the National Guard to the Nation's Capital is that he still hasn't released the Epstein files despite campaigning on that pledge, probably because he's directly complicit in a massive sex trafficking operation that targeted children.
