Hellgate Ospreys (8/1). Wensi is now 51 days old and getting ready to fledge. First up: nestoration skills. Wensi decided to tackle a stick that had been bothering Iris and Clark. Not aware the stick had been moved, Iris crashed into it when she returned. Is that an "oops" look on Wensi's face?

Wildlife Heroes. 2 years ago, a Bald Eagle arrived at World Bird Sanctuary in MO with horrific injuries, including a gunshot wound to his beak. The challenge was to regrow a beak with the hooked shape essential for eating and grooming. In care, the beak required constant filing to stay functional.

Zipping through low earth orbit are ~16.5.K active satellites and ~28K pieces of tracked space debris. ~4K tracked objects are >4" and are the primary source of Kessler Syndrome: orbital debris collisions in an unending cycle creating countless reflective fragments—and hazards for decades.
