Hej, I'm Elin! 👋 I do research for @pragmaticengineer.com, take pictures of fancy ducks, do various naturey and crafty activities, and think many random thoughts about life, the universe and everything! 🐢🪴

I've started replacing scrolling with solitaire card games during breaks, and this is the closest I've come to beating Klondike so far 🥳/🫠

The results from a game of the card solitaire Klondike. It's four aces in a row, except that the Ace of Spades (🎶 the ace of spades 🎶) has the Nine of Spades on top of it - meaning it's as close to a successful game of Klondike you can come to without actually winning it.

I was today years old when I realised the top shelf in my fridge can actually store tall things because there's MORE SPACE AT THE BACK 🤯

A hand attempting to put a tall bottle onto the top shelf of a fridge, but the cork is hitting the roof of the fridge so it doesn't fit The same bottle and fridge but from a slightly lower angle, where you can see that further back on the top shelf, there's more space because the roof of it tilts upwards. It kind of looks as though, if the bottle is tilted into the fridge, it actually DOES fit on the top shelf???The bottle, standing on the top shelf, with room to spare. 🤯
