But on the other hand, I have started working on another article, this time on #accentism 🤩 #tesol #tefl
My article on language and identity is done but tbh I don’t know where to send it 🤣 it’s not an academic article, it’s pretty mainstream so I am puzzled and open to suggestions #article #sociolinguistics
What’s the best way to start #languageweek ? To have a conference about deaf sign language ! #diversity #multilingualism
I have an interview at the university of Portsmouth to do an Ed.D 🔥 #keepthemotivation

I won’t pay €280 a language assessment test to prove that my English level is good enough to be a doctorate student in a British university while I have been a British university student for the past 6 years. This is purely and simply discrimination. #tesol
I hold a MA in Applied linguistics and TESOL from a British university. I attended Yale and Harvardas a postgrad. I have published papers in English about English teaching. I have been asked to provide a proof of my English level from Ed.D program. #whatonearth
This is 2025 and we need, more than ever, to remind people that women are human beings. Women’s rights are human’s rights. #internationalwomensday

Oh, and I enrolled back to Harvard. I was debating for months, if not years, if I were to do a Certificate in School management and Leadership at Harvard Business School, since I got in, actually. Well, today is the day 💁♀️ #professionaldevelopment
✨and just like that, my article is out ! ✨ ihworld.com/ih-journal/i... #tesol #multilingualism

Promoting native speakerism is a slap on the face to all the learners of the world. It’s saying “you will never be enough.” I am raging mad that this is something qualified and competent teachers have to fight against #tesol #accentism
My daughter (3 y/o) explained to me, very calmly, that she wanted to go to Japan with me next Spring so while I work, she can “admire the flowers”. I think she particularly liked building that Lego set with me 🤣 #japaneseflowers #thingsmykidsays
I am halfway through my second #futurelearn certificate this month (this time about language and culture), fairly sure I will be done by next week 😱 #cpd
I said to myself “I don’t need another tattoo” for months. I was convinced. No new projects. Until my favorite tattoo artist released new sketches and I am like TAKE MY MONEYYYYY #tattoo
Busy weekend since I completed a new certificate with #futurelearn ✨ introduction to Intercultural Studies : Intercultural contact. I really liked it and completed it way faster than I thought 🤣 #cpd #interculturalism
Just realized that my cat, who is 18 years old and a half, would be 90 years old if she were human .. no wonder she is tired lately 😰 #leeloo
I am honestly considering signing up for Japanese classes 🫠 why am I like this? #languages #japanese
“Accent reduction” is more of a marketing gimmick than an actual service.
I have to stop myself from buying a new book on #languagerevitalization this time about #breton 😭 #brittany
