according to my family i was invested in games since i was two, and i couldn't tell you with any certainty which one made it stick. the ones that i have memories of are me and my sisters trying to get through sierra's gold rush and interplay's lord of the rings vol. I (the CRPG, not the SNES one)

What's your "origin" video game? Most gamers have a lot of favorite games, sure, but there's always one that basically 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 you. I'm talking about the game that flipped that little switch in your brain and made into a life-long gamer. So, which game is 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨?

the funny thing to me is seeing people talk about how repetitive the combat apparently is in resonant is that they are all comparing it to unfavorably the first game, and i don't know what game they played, because if there a single word to describe the first game's combat it is repetitive

on the one hand i would really appreciate in the people in the building across the street would not keep bright christmas lights on throughout the night shining through my windows on the other hand it does kind of create a mild film noir venetian blinds type deal cutting across the room
