Spent last week with Setsuko Thurlow, an A-bomb survivor from Hiroshima and anti-nuclear campaigner based in Canada. The week with her made me reflect a lot on our shared work towards abolition and how much I am learning from this intergenerational dialogue

Up to 50 attendees gathered to explore current nuclear justice practices and brainstorm ways to move them forward during 2025 #NuclearBanWeek and beyond. We shared updates on community-led events happening throughout the week and sparked some great conversations.

Last week, I moderated a working meeting to discuss the socio-economic development of the territories close to the former Semipalatinsk nuclear test site (SNTS) and to ensure the rights of citizens affected by nuclear tests.The working meeting was organized by Friedrich Ebert Foundation Kazakhstan.
