All across the EU, people are rioting over the cost of living and underfunded public services. Not to sound doomsdayish, but the next global pandemic-like event won't be biological. It's going to be global unrest over the cost of survival while a few elites keep getting richer.
Twitter in 2026 is absolutely miserable - It's a dictatorship ruled by the blue checkmarks - It's buggy as fuck and always crashes - Elon Musk literally boosts ads for far-right campaigns - There's WAY more bots, way more than I saw on Bluesky - It became a platform ruled by hatred and violence
What’s has me feeling disillusioned is the realization that the United States Constitution, our founding document, is nothing more than a pinky promise that the people in charge don’t feel obligated to keep. Why did we even bother to go to civics class?
The root problem is that most U.S. news and social media are owned by fascist billionaires, who'll keep sowing hate and division to sway half the electorate toward fascism AGAIN. American fascism isn't natural; it was cultivated through decades of brainwashing. This must be addressed.
I propose a "Nuremberg trial": a national tribunal, with international participation, tasked with truth seeking, justice and accountability, with referrals to courts to punish officials. And multigenerational mandatory education programs, similar to those imposed on Nazi-Germany after World War II.
