Come run with me while I talk about stopping state support for the Confederacy in Virginia and the end of our government celebrating traitors in the Commonwealth.

Proud to have endorsed @shannontaylorva.com and supported her campaign. I’m excited to help elect her to Congress this November.
It's #PrimaryNight in VA, and I'm proud to be 100% behind gene4va.bsky.social, Elaine Luria, @tomperriello.bsky.social, @bethmacy.bsky.social, and Joy Powers. Congratulations to our nominees. Now it's time to unite, organize, and win this November. Virginia Dems are ready to compete everywhere.
Thanks to the Fairfax police officers who came out for National Night Out and work to keep our community safe every day.
Tomorrow is Virginia’s #PrimaryDay. Don't forget to vote and have your voice heard. Look up polling location and ballot information at: www.elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ba...
I am deeply saddened to hear of former Senator Janet Howell's passing. It was an honor to serve alongside Janet. She devoted decades to serving the people of Fairfax and Virginia. My thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time. She will be missed.
For too long, Virginia was one of the hardest places in America to regain the right to vote after serving time. Now, we're making real progress under Gov. @abigailspanberger.com. Vote YES on measure #3 to make automatic voting rights restoration permanent. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
Virginia Gov. Spanberger has restored voting rights for 66,000 people with past felony convictions
The volume presents a dramatic reversal of prior Gov. Glenn Youngkin's tenure, when he restored less than 10,000 voter's rights during his entire four-year term.

Democracy works best when more people have a voice, not fewer. It's past time Virginia restored voting rights to people who've paid their debt to society.
Today marks the anniversary of Medicare and Medicaid becoming law, a major step toward ensuring health care isn't determined by your income or your luck. I'm proud of our work in the General Assembly to expand access to care - and I'll keep fighting to protect these programs.
Every kid deserves the freedom to run, play, and be a kid. Stories like Gavin's are why I introduced HB216. Kids who've overcome so much shouldn't have to fight their insurance company just to have the same opportunities as every other child. www.wtvr.com/news/local-n...

We're just 100 days away from #ElectionDay. This November, Virginians have the chance to enshrine reproductive freedom, marriage equality, and voting rights in our Constitution. #VoteYES on all three constitutional amendments. Let's get it done, #Virginia.
Every Virginian deserves to feel safe in their community, no matter who they are. Proud to have chief co-patroned Delegate @kathykltran.bsky.social's HB1015 to keep firearms out of the hands of people convicted of misdemeanor hate crimes and better protect vulnerable communities.
Higher gas prices hit working families first. That's one reason I opposed Trump's war with Iran from the start: it would drive up costs at home. Virginians need leaders focused on lowering costs and keeping our communities safe - not creating more chaos. virginiamercury.com/briefs/congr...
Congressional report says Virginians have paid $1.8 billion more for gas since Iran war started • Virginia Mercury

Great to join my friend Congressman @pkryan.bsky.social last night. Proud to support a fellow West Point grad who's fighting for our democracy, standing up for veterans and working families, and showing that Democrats win tough races. We've got a lot of work ahead, and I'm ready for it.
On this run, I’m talking about how Virginia is leading the way in protecting our democracy, the progress we’ve made, and the work we still have left to do to keep moving our Commonwealth forward.
In the military, we swear an oath to defend the Constitution - not a political party. That's why I wrote the National Guard Integrity and Democracy Protection Act: to ensure Virginia's National Guard can never be weaponized to interfere in our elections.
Great joining the Sully Democrats and helping serve ice cream on a hot summer evening. Always appreciate talking with neighbors about the issues that matter most and how we keep Virginia moving forward.
I'm proud to have authored legislation to ensure students learn the truth about January 6th: a violent attack on our Capitol by MAGA insurrectionists trying to overturn the 2020 election for Donald Trump.
Every eligible Virginian deserves access to the ballot - including service members, seniors, disabled people, and working families. I'm proud to have helped make Virginia one of the easiest states in the country to vote, and I'll keep fighting every day to protect that right.
No matter how many lies Trump tells tonight, he can't rewrite reality: our elections are fair, secure, and accurate. I'll always fight to protect our democracy from election deniers who would rather spread lies and suppress voters than admit they lost.
Virginia's law enforcement officers are part of our communities and proud to be accountable - while Trump's new ICE cowardly hides behind masks. Proud to have chief co-patroned Delegate Charlie Schmidt's HB1482 to promote professionalism and identify ICE agents who are breaking the law.
Civil rights, labor, and faith leaders announced a March on Washington to defend the freedom to vote. The right to vote is the foundation of our democracy. I'll keep fighting to protect it and ensure every eligible Virginian can make their voice heard. www.reuters.com/world/us/civ...

Trump's MAGA Supreme Court continually puts politics over precedent, expanding his power at the expense of our democracy. We need court reform and justices who will uphold the Constitution - not rewrite it to benefit Donald Trump.
