Got osteo-arthritis? Consider hyaluronic acid injections. Had one in my hip 2 weeks ago - virtually painless, has outperformed all expectations of pain/stiffness reduction & increased mobility - & unlike steroids, can be repeated for as long as it continues to work. Brilliant. 😀👍

Modest brag: yesterday, I picked, washed & froze a punnet of elderberries; picked, cooked & squished a colander of grapes into a litre of juice + 4 jars of jel-ish (it hasn't set v well but still tastes good); made 5 jars of divinely hot apple/chili chutney; AND cooked dinner. 😇

Phew. Big rain today & currently thundering, so sounds like more on way. Such relief to see big blobs of blue moving around weather radar, looks like everyone's getting a wetting at last. 😊

Autie got in big shouty sweary grump today because Didn't Want to Bake, but tins needed replenishing so had to. Cherry almond flapjack & muesli cookies achieved, nonetheless. Think he deserves a strong drink & some THC now. 😊

Hubcap just re-watched 1917. Totally gets/loves the cinematography. I get it intellectually but can't endure even peripherally. Autie sees only THE TECHNIQUE, long breathless blinkless unrelieved monotone tunnel overriding all else, causing such acute mental discomfort I have to leave room. 😬

Happy Caturday! Cat-pals getting closer: Foxy & Not-Our-Tabby amicably sharing a seat, if at respectful distance. (Yesterday they were fighting over it; today they've achieved compromise). Still hoping to find them snuggled up together sometime...

A shady patio surrounded by plants, furnished with an old round wooden table and a wooden bench with black wrought-iron ends. Upon its faded green cushion are curled two cats, Not-Our-Tabby at the top and our black-and-white fluffy Foxy nearest the camera.

Ah... rain upon rain. Trees & plants turgid, grass greening again, ponds topping up, no more fire risk in our environs, thank God - & no present need for us ageing, aching gardeners to lug tons of water round our sites desperately trying to keep things alive. Phew. Such relief in so many ways. 😊

Ah, the inexpressible relief of sustained, soaking, life/labour-saving, water-butt-filling, pond-replenishing, fire-risk-reducing rain! Relishing radar images of big blue bands sweeping over UK & near Continent, hopefully easing drought/putting out fires as they go. Phew-ee. Autie happier now. 😊

Phew. Coolth & 1st rain in 10 days, only just enough to puddle but welcome indeed, & more forecast. Every drop a life-saving relief & reduction in fire risk. So thankful to see most areas should be getting some. 🙂🌨️
