Naruto X Ninku!!! More Naruto anime is (of course!) great but I am truly *ecstatic* that we’re getting new Ninku animation!! Ninku is such an amazing series, and “crossovers” in general are very rare in Japanese animation. I cannot *wait* for this to come out!

Finally *Finally* finished with all my back work. 😭😭 I tell people all the time not to take on too many projects at once but I didn’t follow my own advice this last year. Finally done though and can now focus on *one job* like a normal person. 😮‍💨

Working in the anime industry would be so much more fun if the deadlines weren't as brutal. I often look down at what I'm drawing & think "Damn, this is like living the dream" only to look at the calendar & realize I have to get it all done in an agonizingly short amount of time.

Been going through Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth on Hard mode as a way to replay it & complete stuff I didn’t during my first playthrough. I just finally… after *hours*… beat hard mode Rufus. Mother of god. That was not fun at all. I was a hair’s breadth away from rage quitting.

Forgot to post this last week, but the Pokemon Go 10th anniversary event was hands down the best event the game has ever had. I was able to level up, as well as get and evolve so many Pokemon I haven’t been able to so far… including *every* Unown. Good stuff! #pokemon #pokemongo #shinypokemon

Saw the new Keroro Gunso movie this weekend. It was kinda long and I wish the finale had crazier sakuga, but otherwise it was funny and cool to see the whole cast again after so many years. The character designs were reworked to be closer to the manga which was neat.

A short anime project I storyboarded & directed (for a major franchise you'll all know) will be released sometime within the next couple weeks. This *isn't* any of the big projects I've hinted at before. This is an extra something that suddenly came up. BUT, it's pretty cool.😁

For the first time EVER this week I felt my vote in an American election actually meant something. Every candidate Zohran Mamdani endorsed won resoundingly. The word “socialism” & being Anti-Israel-genocide are apparently not the death knells they once were, at least in New York.

My One Piece episode 1066 storyboards were 153 pages. The current -series-name-redacted- boards I'm working on are well over 300 pages 😭😭 FML That's why it's taking so long.😵‍💫

I don’t follow sports much but I love to see New York win. Congrats to the Knicks! I know it’s wholly unrelated but this somehow also feels like a win for Mamdani’s socialism. 😂 New York’s just crushing it. It’s been a while since I’ve been proud of the USA in any way.
