Of note with the addition of Kenneth Walker III, the dream of seeing Jeremiyah Love in the Chiefs’ offense is basically gone. That said, Chiefs can focus on other areas of glaring need at No. 9, like get a blue-chip pass rusher in the first round of the draft.

When the player tweets the news, that’s confirmation. Brett Veach mentioned “explosive” three times at the NFL Scouting Combine when it came to improving the run game. Mission accomplished with the addition of the Super Bowl MVP. Kenneth Walker is an instant upgrade to the Chiefs RB room.
From Kenneth Walker:
Miami’s Rueben Bain and Texas Tech’s David Bailey both said they had formal interviews with the Chiefs.
Utah LB Lander Barton said he’s met informally with the Chiefs at the NFL Scouting Combine, then adds he also met with the Chiefs at the Shrine Bowl. Barton pointed out he is a versatile LB, can cover and pass rush. He said he knows Chiefs like to move around LBs in Steve Spagnuolo’s scheme.
This will forever be one of my favorite interactions with now Pro Football Hall of Famer Drew Brees. What a career he had. An honor to cover Brees for a few of his Hall of Fame years in New Orleans.
Had a lot of fun yesterday with the fellas on this late-morning segment.
