“My station is not active for today, it is fine.” She can handle waiting, especially if it's to learn something new like the operations of another sector of goverment.
𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐎=𝐎𝐍𝐄@sunvoid.bsky.social · 2y agoIt likely involves a map and various different frequencies popping up in various locations— probably in Eastern Illyria. "I will keep that in mind, Brigadier General." A slight pause. "This may take some time. You do not have to wait here..."
“If you say so, but let me know what you find. I will help if needed.” Ram's looking over this ‘cool hacker stuff’, only semi understanding what was going on
𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐎=𝐎𝐍𝐄@sunvoid.bsky.social · 2y ago"Unlikely," said Zato, shaking his head, "Lord Mining is a capable. I doubt he's in any danger." « So... should I leave it be? » "No. Proceed." With a nod, the hooded assassin turned in his chair towards the computer's display, bringing up the keyboard to do 'cool hacker stuff'.
So… dressing up? Is that not just something children do?
THE SUBSPACE OFFSPRING.@thorneddaughter.bsky.social · 2y agoIt's what you dress up as for Halloween and events, you can literally be anything from robots to aliens, even historical figures. I only dress for Halloween though.
Blinking, deciding to copy his hsnd gesturing. (That would be wise, he could be hurt or taken).
𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐎=𝐎𝐍𝐄@sunvoid.bsky.social · 2y agoThe assassin looked up towards Ramlethal, gesturing with his hand while he spoke. « It timed out, which means he didn't hang up, at least... I'm sure you can see how that isn't exactly comforting. I could try to triangulate his whereabouts if it's an issue of service... »
“Is that supposed to happen?” Ram was fairly certain that a flat note was bad, at least when it came to contacting someone. The Valentine walked over to the assasin who tried to contact Mining. “Have you lost contact with this Mining?”
𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐎=𝐎𝐍𝐄@sunvoid.bsky.social · 2y agoThe assassin nodded, switching the frequency to a different one. Six times, it rang before it eventually timed out with a flat note. "That's unusual," Zato remarked, voice dull as though it wasn't really a surprise.
Ram scanned the same room, the one she had been in a few times now… It was a little uncomfortable, but not enough to complain about.
𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐎=𝐎𝐍𝐄@sunvoid.bsky.social · 2y agoThe two walked in what could be described by some as an awkward silence. When they finally reached the castle War Room, Zato took a brief pause as though he was scanning the room. "Hm..."
A nod and follow, the Valentine staying right behind Zato as they walked.
𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐎=𝐎𝐍𝐄@sunvoid.bsky.social · 2y agoMillia might.. maybe... "Come," Zato beckoned, turning and heading for the War Room.
Perhaps. Only problem is that neither of these two express emotion very well. ‘Wanting’ is a feeling that needs to be expressed as well. “I see. I have been there a few times.”
𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐎=𝐎𝐍𝐄@sunvoid.bsky.social · 2y agoIf she wants to see that, she'd be better off finding Millia. Perhaps the two could relate to each other about their experiences of being weapons and learning to express emotion? "Then, if you would follow me... We're currently borrowing the castle's war room during our stay in the capitol."
“Sure.” It would be nice for Ram to learn what an assasin adjusting to normal life looks like too, especiallt given their shared ‘lack of emotion’.
𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐎=𝐎𝐍𝐄@sunvoid.bsky.social · 2y ago"I'm afraid there isn't much I can show you at this very moment... but if you would like, you can accompany me while I visit a friend within the Bureau?" Zato didn't— and still doesn't— care either. But he supposes it could be interesting to see how a Valentine has adjusted to a 'normal' life.
“Warning: Unidentified puppet-like weapon is in their posession, stay cautious.”
“Guess you can say that.” Honestly? She just wanted to know who Zato really was. She knew OF him thanks to the Conclave, but didn't care to ask further back then. But now she did.
𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐎=𝐎𝐍𝐄@sunvoid.bsky.social · 2y ago"An evaluation?" Zato questioned. There wasn't much to show, especially in office-- with no crisis or direct requests from higher-ups, the P.W.A.B. was mostly left to their own devices. Given the nature of the Bureau, the man wasn't so sure that Ramlethal 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 to see that.
