There are a lot of reasons that I hate AI, but chief among them is that AI builds a reliance on its service in its users. If a person believes that AI is the key to their creativity, they will believe that that creativity can be taken away, and pay to let them keep something that is already theirs.

POV: you’re strapped to a dental chair, your mouth ratcheted open, you cannot move a muscle. A beautiful trans woman revs a power drill, it’s a Makita, with a bit the size of a pencil. She approaches, the drill whines, as she gets closer she repeats one question: “When is Out of Touch Thursday?”

Idk if anybody has ever had such bad media literacy as the guy who made the Silent Hill movies. He said in an interview that he saw the way Pyramid Head drags his knife as evocative of Christ dragging the cross. He thought that he nailed it!

You know, for me? I don’t think that the action is the juice. I’m sorry, but I don’t want to die in a cool action sequence anymore. For me, the juice is going to a very nice dinner with my beautiful wife that I love, thanks to the millions that I prudently saved/invested after those bank robberies

It’s endlessly funny how in Hitman, the accents don’t match where you are in the world, and voice lines don’t fit the context. So when you’re at a far right extremist militia camp in Colorado, everyone has English accents, and if you walk by someone with your gun out, he might call you a warmonger.

Everyone should read this story and see how the state of Idaho, the Trump administration, and hate groups such as ADF, SEGM, Do No Harm, and the Manhattan Institute have blood on their hands. They murdered this trans teen and her future. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...

Idaho pushed anti-trans laws for years. Then a teen died.

The life and death of May Pollard, 16, provides a window into the tragic effect that legislation and political rhetoric have had on trans people in America.

Interesting when you think about how it only took about 12 years, or two mainline GTA entries, for video games to go from removing your ability to do 9/11, to allowing you to do 9/11. Society!

Ghost in the Shell as a series has always had strong transgender themes, but it’s an incredible metatextual choice to so accurately reflect how life feels pre and post transition in the contrasting tones of GitS 1998 and 2026. They told me this was intentional and did it just for me.

I think that when tv shows do the disclaimer about suicide and link to their website’s “dont kill yourself” page, every tv show should just pick one show’s page and link to that. Like in an episode of some prestige show they should say “go to burnnotice,com/dontdoitdawg.” It’s called saving money.
