I am currently organizing what I have written thus far and got to a conversation between these two characters. I did not cry but I felt the little pre impulse just from a sentence between them.
HexTheHex@hexthehex.bsky.social · 4mo agoI had to get a napkin to clear up a few tears in the corners of my eyes while driving my car thinking about incredibly doomed yuri. Parked at my destination and wrote in my phone notes all that down for like five minutes before opening the car door.
Relevant for today: found myself reacting to Forrest getting into FEH
I think I have consistency issues in terms of drawing faces.
My days lately have been going to work and then tackling my daily creative quotas of writing and art. Sadly still not cracking into ~mysterious third thing~ much at all quite yet, but I will try better tomorrow.

I don't know how I'm drawing so much lately and also writing around 900 words a day for the big horse thing. I guess I just sanded down the resistance enough to do lots of neat things at once.
I like that Chloé. It took four hours to make but I think it looks very nice.
it's the 100th straight day of the horse. there are too many words here. I took a second to look at what's been done a week ago and it seemed like I'd taken big chunks out of the vision. I am very looking forward to sharing it with you all some day...
I sometimes imagine what I think at the time are great tidbits for the novel falling asleep and write them down. They vary in quality from: -"We're gonna lose to ken leraunge!" (There is no character named this? What was I thinking??) -"I'll flirt with anything so long as it's a girl" (banger)
I pray when the time comes that I have the strength to rip away the placeholder names for something better.
I've been very productive lately. There is a lot to do, but it is being chipped away relentlessly.
I think it's interesting that up until the end of middle school I lived my life effectively in analog and then from there on it switched to digital.
Saw that Bubzia did a run at GDQ and immediately there's an anti-bubzia comment. This shit hits dude.

There's a genre of youtube video that looks like the equivalent of cocomelon for an n64 baby boy like me. I refuse to watch them. I'm a grown man now. I can't eat an entire container of oreoes for dinner. I am not clicking on any of these Designing For videos.
People who go "oh they're a femboy" as a twitch reaction when a character is canonically trans or readable as trans are weak and should perish.
