wild that boomers are trying to convince an entire generation that we're just not working hard enough. when monthly rent for a studio apartment is more expensive than how much they bought their house for all while 2 years of experience might get you $13 an hour (not enough to actually pay that rent)

the entire reason the gaming industry is so dogshit right now is the domino effect from "putting aside" lootboxes. "putting aside" any controversy only serves to benefit from the people causing it, this isn't new and we shouldn't "let it slide sometimes"

Gen-AI controversy aside, after 30 minutes with Crazy Taxi: World Tour, it feels like classic arcade Sega - and it's an absolute blast www.eurogamer.net/crazy-taxi-w...

every day i learn a new thing sony is trying to pull to shoot themselves in the foot as much as possible. sony executives on every branch are masochists who want to fail as miserably and publicly as possible, it's both funny and sad to watch happen

it is so depressing opening YouTube Studio, seeing my newest video has thousands more views than my previous videos, and remembering it is completely fucking meaningless because of the new view count change and i have no way of knowing how well the video is ACTUALLY doing

This Mii, Matt, was created today, 20 years ago. He first appeared in Wii Sports which released just a few months after. We can tell exactly when he was created by datamining his file in Wii Music: August 30th, 2006, at 4:24 AM.

real talk. there's gotta be some way we can sue these mega corporations like YouTube for claiming they do "human review" of content when they very clearly straight up do not have humans behind these decisions. right?

i hope that one day everyone collectively realizes 99.9999% of everything ever called "cringe" is just people being happy in freely expressing themselves, and engaging in things that make them happy in ways that make them happy, and people who lack that outlet need to feel cool about it

every time i see the YouTube logo, i always instinctually got a particular feeling and couldn't place it until now. it's a feeling of "now THERE's a company that's committed to doing the dumbest fucking decisions possible"

the "whether you like it or not, it's happening" crowd has gotten real silent ever since more and more platforms and companies have been phasing out their ai features because no one used them or liked them

not only do i think PlayStation should continue printing physical media, they should ALSO let you move a digital game download onto an external drive to plug into any other PS5 in the world and play offline. ownership over your digital media is important, too.

just saw the backrooms movie. i liked it, and glad it's different, but i personally would've liked if there was more to it. i wouldn't mind the movie being even longer pau said i watched the extended cut too lol. i still think it should've been longer. i don't want a sequel, just a longer movie

at first Nintendo Music was so cool seeing it finally announced and then here we are almost 2 years later, and every now and then i just get a notification that says "we made a new playlist for Mario Kart" or "here's 10 tracks from a game that just released. no you can't have more"

In World 8-7 of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, releasing a mushroom on the third Spine Coaster but not collecting it results in an entertaining interaction whereby the Spine Coaster will balance the mushroom on its nose, like a seal trained to balance a ball.

I love how people like this will do anything but admit to the fact that gen ai is just inherently a bad harmful thing with no worth. “Eating human feces isn’t the problem, it just that my relationship to it is unhealthy and needs work-“ OH MY GOD JUST STOP EATING SHIT

every so often my computer begins to make a new horrific noise constantly and i go "oh my god this is it, it's finally over". then i look at new computer options. and a month later i'm like "she's still got a couple thousand more miles left in her we're fiiiine actually. the noise means she's On"

In Super Mario All-Stars, getting hit by Mouser's bomb exactly 64 frames after defeating him will make the player character assume a unique pink and blue color scheme. The colors will remain for as long as the player stays in the room.

In the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. 2, if Mouser is defeated and then the player character is hit by a bomb exactly 64 frames later while having exactly 2 health remaining...
...a glitch will occur whereby the player character's palette will change to pink and blue after Mouser's death animation.
This works for all characters. Below are their special palettes.
The colors will remain as long as the character stays in this room and does not perform a charge jump.

Mario Kart Tour is getting shut down in September? that's not much time, but i'd happily support whatever fan server project is willing to tackle a revival. modern Nintendo continues to prove they don't give a fuck about their consumers

just finished Deltarune Chapter 5. actually REALLY good, it took a bit to warm up to the characters but they grew on me and i ended up liking all of them. my biggest issue is just how easy it is to get lost, there's so many massive rooms and paths i could never find anything. otherwise, FANTASTIC :)
