Funding applications are now open for our Community Transport Grant Scheme. We're encouraging eligible community transport organisations across Highland to apply and help continue providing vital connections to healthcare, education, employment and community life.

Council Leader Cllr Raymond Bremner welcomed the announcement, which will see continued flights to Aberdeen and new scheduled services to Glasgow, supporting travel for business, healthcare, tourism and onward connections. Here is the new weekly timetable.

Blue-green algae has been detected in Lochindorb Loch, north of Grantown on Spey. People and pets are advised to avoid contact with any algal scum as it may be harmful to health. Warning notices will be displayed around the loch while investigations continue.
