Yaaaay! I see Oscar won in Burgos today. I missed the livestream sadly but was a joy to see the results sheet. Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

GLP-1 updates have been a bit lacking recently. Things were ticking along nicely, I've lost about 9kg since April. But food noise was starting to reassert itself and was becoming difficult. So I decided to go up one dose. The dose increase coincided with a number of other things to make the

Is anyone else absolutely convinced today is Friday? Both flatmate and I have spent the day convinced that tosay is Friday. This week is doin me a confuse.

Major issue with the @cs3cs6count.bsky.social Embankment Counter. Check out the "year to date" figure... Lane was super busy so clearly there's been some significant glitching going on. Or it can't show 1,000,000? 2nd photo is from the 24th July.

Close up picture of the Embankment cycle counter display this evening. Showing 9608 cyclists today (which given that there were legions of cyclists going past and at least 40 coming through the Westminster Bridge lights. And 55,590 so far this year. Embankment counter showing 6612 cyclists on 24th July and 958,568 since the restart in late April.

I like that at the Commonwealth Games, England sing "Jerusalem" rather than GSTK. I love Jersualem. Great tune, and inspiring words. Would support them singing that for the footie & rugby teams. (And of course because we all compete separately us Scots get Flower of Scotland.)

PSA for users of #CS3 it's down to westbound lane only opposite All Hallows By The Tower (outside the 'Spoons there). Flowing relatively freely but breathe in (or out if you're a singer).... looks like Cadent is back. Permit til 28th July.

It appears dad and I made a good decision to watch the golf highlights (final day of the Open today) rather than watch the rest of the fitba. Did always think it would be low scoring with insane shithousing from the Argies....

I'm sitting here in my house with the windows open, working, (yes, working on a Sunday) and actually feeling *whispers* slightly chilly.... I've even been drinking tea! Isn't this wonderful!?!?!

Mini-Merlier is adorable. And well done Pogi for signing his jersey and cap. I do enjoy the podium sprogs phenomenon.

Aaaah what a fabulous win for Søren Wærenskjold today. Well done him, what a sprint. Well done - party at the Uno X hotel tonight.

Who's that on the front of the peloton attempting to do a Tim de Clerq impression? Looked like a Quick Step jersey....

I rather appreciate the gym at the London Aquatics Centre. Gym itself is nice and air conditioned. The pool deck outside (for Hyroxy things, some weights and stretching) is like a sauna. Sweating like a very sweaty thing. And I'm on a rest..... but I suppose it's good for weight loss.

I was going to go to the gym this morning but I woke up feeling decidedly meh. So I did the cleaning instead. 9.0 strain score on the Whoop. Nice.

OK - 42-28 looks like a bot of a thumping for Scotland (by the Saafies). But it was closer than the scoreline suggests and actually we played really well. Yay us.

With immeasurable sadness I must announce that Napoleon, our best boy, went missing a few nights back. if you see a small black kitty with two white toes around Boundary/Markhouse roads in #walthamstow do DM me. if i post no photos of him anymore, this will be why. he was my very best boy 💔

my beautiful black kitty, with white belly patches and two white toes, stretched out asleep in happier times.

Slightly less hot today and a nasty headwind on the way home (but a cooling breeze was very welcome!). Bike lanes brisk rather than super busy. Counter glitched to 0 while I was standing there, missed about 3 riders and restarted again.... Counts tonight @cs3cs6count.bsky.social

Embankment counter (at a jaunty angle) showing 7745 cyclists today and 819,633 cyclists sibxe the restart in late April.

Today I learned that "commotion cérébrale" is the French term for concussion. Which feels jolly apt. Oh and the hairdresser had air conditioning. My hair was pretty much dry by the time I got home. Hehe.

A couple of weeks ago (during the last heatwave) I had an appointment at the hairdresser. Moved it because of the heat. To tomorrow. FML. Hey ho.
