I had the privilege of speaking to a PhD candidate whose dissertation looks at white separatist groups in the American West in the latter half of the twentieth century. They’d struggled to find first-hand accounts from people who escaped such groups. This is exactly what I want to be doing.

Gordon Mohr was a Christian Identity evangelist, and a bit of a gremlin. He joined Pete Peters in an on-air argument with talk radio host Alan Berg a few short months before Berg's murder by Identity associates within The Order. Shared are photos of Mohr with my grandparents, and a book he gave em.

About this account: I was raised in a white nationalist cult called Christian Identity. I escaped as a runaway teen in the 90s. I mostly use this account to research, discuss & chronicle the group & my family's connection for a better understanding of it's through-lines & the far right in general.

Found this 45 year old Christian Bill of Rights in the nightmare office I collect these materials from. Amendments 9 & 10 do not seem to reconcile. Speaking of amendments, what was the text in this bill of rights before the amendments? It looks to be all amendments? Anyway, fuck Jerry Falwell.

A copy of Jerry Falwell’s 1980 Christian Bill of Rights, featuring ten quite stupid “amendments”. What was amended? Who can say.

1992’s Rocky Mountain Rendezvous did for “leaderless resistance” & militant networking what the NAGR did for “confrontational politics”. Weaponized notions-turned doctrine by frenzied chimps. Can’t call it a cult if it’s “leaderless”. Stochastic terrorists gonna stochastic terrorize. #NAGR

I’ve been writing a lot of standup. I’ve been writing songs. I’ve been writing a screenplay. I’ve been writing a book. The trial date for my PI case has been set. I’ve been in touch with folks about my family’s ties to extremists. Life feel less static & stagnant than it has in years. Maybe it is.

I was forcefully baptized in 6th grade for asking the school chaplain if God’s forgiveness might ever apply to his fallen angels. Bawling and coughing up water after nearly being drowned for, I suppose, heresy, & I never got an answer. Now I want to author a story about a celestial peace broker.

Due to being raised in an anti-science crowd during the confluence of Wakefield & the Satanic Panic (new band name), my family didn’t believe in vaccines, & forged my records. In 2022 I tell my doctor about all of this, & she immediately orders antibody tests so we could identify and fill the gaps.
