Utter drivel from the Chief Rabbi Effectively, this means that there can never be any criticism of Israel's appalling actions because it will 'put British Jews at risk' Dangerous, Zionist, nonsense www.theguardian.com/politics/liv...
Well they certainly weren't showing solidarity with Muslim women, who wear burquas in public.
is this a serious question? i feel like i'm on drugs, nothing makes any damn sense
It used to be standard practice that Labour didn't offer membership to anyone who had stood against the party. Crossovers like this have let down their previous voters and should be forced to face a by-election. No wonder confidence in politicians is falling.
“Swales said he had seen "first-hand" how "Reform simply doesn't have a serious plan".”
I was MEP when the Wall came down & knew West & East Germany well. I paid many visits to the former DDR & called the transition a takeover & described it as such in a chapter in my book "The Semi-Detached European"
excellent (free to) read about the mistakes Germany made with unification in 1990, essentially putting East Germany under guardianship. TL;DR: the AfD vote is rooted in economic hardship from "industrial liquidation", not migraton. (it's from 2019 but was republished because of AfDs result)
A curious case of more rats joining a sinking ship.
Failed Tories still jumping on the sinking Reform boat.
There were people like them around but for Pearl Harbour and FDR, they would have done a deal. Know your history.
I’m just glad Kushner and Witkoff weren’t around to negotiate a “win-win” for Germany and Japan in 1942.
Miliband's principled & brave stand in HoC & his forthright denunciation of the deliberately distorting claim, that to oppose Zionist seizure of Palestinian land, is anti-semitic. There are other narratives than Zionism which should be heard & read. See review on substack mhindley.substack.com/p
Vote, campaign, demonstrate, argue (politely not dogmatically) accordingly with my full support and approval
I have a legitimate concern my kids will have to fight for food on a burnt out planet.
Is there no senior figure around to follow Sen Lloyd Bentsen's withering put down with "President Trump, you are no Patten or MacArthur"
BonesSpurs McDraftDodger had the unmitigated gall to post this image & I just threw up in my mouth a little. At long last, sir, have you no sense of decency? #StolenValor
Conspiracy to break the law can be prosecuted. Yet mobilising men all in black and masked to cause disruption was described as "spontaneous" by the police.
Fighting aged men with bloats
Large group of men dressed in black and masked turn up at the same time, in the same place and the police describe it as "spontaneous". It was a conspriracy.
Immature boys in men’s bodies.
"Mr President, can I interest you in some prime seafront real estate in Gaza ?" Thanks, but I own Russia. But if you have time, I've got some great videos of your father-in-law"
'Mr President, your will is our command.'
I feel Reform is approaching it's "Night of the Long Knives" moment. Its very rich backers, who want an authoritarian regime, must be growing nervous about the Reform Company thugs, who have a much more sinister intent.
Content warning: Multiple men violently assault a female protester at Reform's conference at the Birmingham NEC, to the visible delight of Nigel Farage.

I'm surprised that no interviewer or reporter has picked up Burnham's implicit criticism that Blair followed Thatcher's wrong path.
Day 2407 of #Brexit: ‘The majority of Britons agree with Andy Burnham that the country took a wrong turn by leaving the European Union, but they are split over his belief that Margaret Thatcher’s premiership set the country on the wrong path.’ www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...
If elected politicians must take their economics from what's good for for the bonds market, what's the point of elections ?
Starmer blocked Burnham standing in the Gorton & Denton by-election because it could mean a costly & risky be-election for a new Mayor. Starmer has now resigned causing a costly & risky by-election, which Labour could lose again to the Greens. So much for loyalty to Labour, which over-promoted him.
One more u-turn for the fans from the people's champion
Labour's best chance is Sadiq Khan, which could mean another Mayoral by-election, which could mean etc, etc....
Of course he will. Its time for this neoliberal former PM to hit the private sector and earn that payday he really wanted. Time for all the ghostwritten books mass purchased by ghost firms, the six-seven figure lecture fees, the board memberships, and surely a Starmer Foundation to funnel the payola
* Grovelled to megalomaniac child abuser Trump. * Allowed MacSweeney free hand to suspend, expel & keep of selection lists anyone on the left. * Appointed highly dubious character, Mandelson, to the most prestigious diplomatic post. * set a model of freebies for Cabinet members; etc, etc..
Good riddance to Keir Starmer. He won't be missed... + Purged Jews from the party en masse. + Supported a genocide. + Failed to deliver any of his "Ten Pledges" + Waged war on juries and political protest + Stole the winter fuel allowance + Cost Labour the 2019 election.
Causing a by-election, where the Greens will stand a chance. Labour's best chance would be Sadiq Khan, which will cause a Mayoral by-election, which in turn will.....
What posh job will he get next? 🤔
They are not "settlers", they are brutal invaders breaking international law. Please correct this deliberate, distorting propaganda, when and wherever possible.
