Signs of life. In a much better state now than before. Recovery is still ongoing. It's tough. But I'll get through this. Thank y'all for the support, it really helped a lot. I really hope to be back soon.
Day 38 Signs of life. Feeling depressed as of late despite recovery going well. I can't help but think of the things I could've done and progress I could've made in my life and art had I not been injured.
Day 29. Caffeine tolerance is back to baseline levels. Had to adjust my daily brew habits, though.
Day 27. Doing stretches, eating clean, and trying not to be seated for too long. Small steps towards recovery and a better quality of life.
Day 23. Free from pain and the meds to treat it with. To better days ahead.
Day 21. Today's therapy went better than expected. I should celebrate the small wins whenever I can.
Day 20. Today's therapy went great. The PT was firm but gentle, and I felt very little pain from having my neck adjusted. I could finally move my head freely, and they taught me some exercises and tips to help my neck heal too.
Day 18. Happy birthday, Kanan! How fast time flies. This artwork is already three years old. 2023 was a great year for my art. I hope that when I recover, I'd come back stronger and draw even better artworks #lovelive
Day 17. My neck's still giving me problems. But I won't let it stop me from doing all I can to recover. So I have to take my meds, train my hands, and get plenty of rest. The pain will go away soon enough.
Day 16. The roastery had coffees for me. These were featured at yesterday's cupping event. I came to pick them up.
Day 15. Today was my first day of therapy so I missed out on the monthly cupping. The coffees that were on offer were roasted with this new machine. It has electric heating and precise temp controls. I hope to try out the new coffees when I get better.
Day 14. I visited a specialty coffee roastery in my area. I'm good friends with the staff and roast master. The place is super cozy and they hold coffee cuppings every Saturday. Too bad I won't be able to join as I'll be going to therapy for my neck injury. I'll take part when I fully recover.
Day 13 Was at the doctor's recently. Glad to hear that my head's all clear, though my injured neck still needs to be worked on. I'll be seeing a PT for my neck issues. It'll take many sessions so I have to be patient. Still on meds, though I won't have to take painkillers that often.
Day 11. Still resting and recovering. And the plushies have joined me in watching some wrestling.
Day 9. I hope my recovery could come sooner. I've missed out on a lot of things already I want this to end...
Day 6. I was surprised to find out that my art reached the wonderful Ms. Suzie Yeung and earned her signature. Huge thanks to @twitchykun.bsky.social for making this possible 🙏
Day 5. The last of my meds. I've been on these for a week. They've helped greatly. But I only have as much as what I'd been prescribed. Hope that I'll do fine without them. I'll be seeing my doctor again soon.
