Was doing research for my next manuscript and realized something. It is absolutely not on the same level, but there are some parallels between the events of the Ludlow Massacre and the genocide against Palestinians. Just shows that the US government has always been monstrous.

This event led to the creation of legislation to reduce working hrs for women & children in NYS. This legislation didn't protect pay, so many faced paycuts in the aftermath. These pay cuts led to the Little Falls Textile Strike.

#OtD 25 Mar 1911 a fire took place in the New York Triangle Shirtwaist Factory, killing 147 workers, with most of the victims being women and young girls. The owners were charged with seven counts of manslaughter but weren't found guilty stories.workingclasshistory.com/article/9761...

I found a website to make shortened URLs that had less problems than tinyurl, used it for an article I wrote, but now every one of the links made with it is broken so I have to go back and find what source it was and then put it into tinyurl before I can submit it. Pain.
