Iterating off of yesterday's post regarding parallels in #StarWars, one of the most awkward parallels that can come out of the defeat of the Separatists ie. the Confederacy, is how it can be read as turning the Republic and Empire into the Union, thus the United States, post-Clone Wars aka,- 1/4

Something interesting that we see in #StarWars media like #TheCloneWars and #TheBadBatch, is how the Separatist military apparatus was largely disconnected from the CIS's civilian politicians like Senator Bonteri. While there are plenty of messages to be read through this disconnect,- 1/5

Episode 9 of #MaulShadowLord also brought up a LOT of fascinating questions about Janix’s history post-ancient ruin. The Amnesty Statue, chosen as a meeting place by Maul and enough of a local landmark that Lawson recognizes it, is clearly rooted in Janix history and draws on influences from- 1/5

Yesterday, we discussed the likelihood that the temple ruin on Janix in #MaulShadowLord belonged to a civilization which had connections to the Dark Side.
